I just added the Series 80B for posterity... but i found out some quite interesting stuff and added lots of interesting links - worth checking out if you're into it (see tech frontpage 'latest added gear listings/reviews' - center column)

John Oram who worked for Toft & Trident and claims to have been instrumental in the trident Eq design circuitry & sound has his own company and they are making some HOT products based on the original Trident Eq... Toft i dunno about, I read he left Fletcher, but they handle the Trident-MTA brand which makes some alternative Trident repro-eq stuff sold thru Joe-Meek... Intersting stuff anyways...

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

can't tell, maybe a blackface la-4. hey K what's up with the la-4. supposed to be crap(slow recovery under high gain), but I have seen an opamp upgrade that makes it faster like the 1176. And it's stereo bridgable. I have seen them for around $500.

anyway, how bought these smaller Tridents, do they have the same eq's as the big 70 and 80's?

thought you were talking about the blurry blcak thing in the middle. Don't know what that stuff is, but no VU meters should have given it away. I thought those monitors were old auratones.
