stupid waldorf...
every six months its some new design, some exclusive design that you can't upgrade to... and waldorf's service folks... w00t! i mean, the company guys themselves are great people, but the american distributors... GIVE ME A BREAK! i wanted to upgrade my xt to a 30 voice but i didnt want to send it in... im a trained electrician, and ive done much more complicated things than the xt voice upgrade, and after weeks and weeks of emailing the guy he still wouldnt budge, i even told him i dont care about the warranty! "sorry, but its somethign that trained waldorf technicians need to do" yeah, more like you can't go without the cut you get on it to spend 10 minutes to plug in some new dsp board. even if its one that requires pulling ICs that still aint shit, im tired of waldorf's underlings "superior" attitude. they badly need to switch distributors....
*oh yeah, the reason i didnt want to send it in is that i have no desire to send in my XT and wait WEEKS to get it back, as ive heard plenty of horror stories, and also, i didnt want to pay extra for installation so it would make a little more sense to buy the upgrade, rather than sell my xt-10 and buy an xt-30 for $250 more, instead of $550 to send it away to fantasyland.

I wonder when one of the mags will do a proper review on either the original or the plus model. None of the reviews I've seen even come close to doing these beasts justice. The new OS is soo nice, with the new filter types. Does thr µQ have the PPG filter type available? That thing really sings. Happy tweakings.

SOS had about 4 Q reviews untill the OS got stable, and then about 1-2 more for uQ. they´re probly fed up with testing continually changing specs. i´ll laugh if they thest the Q+! would be nice though...
