yeah, but for the price of an A6, you could just about get a Q+, and THAT I suspect would eat the Andromeda for breakfast.

I've tooled with one a bit, and I'll tell you what, Vocoder, THREE oscillators (granted digital, but sound pretty damn good) with FM including external sources, multiple sick filters, including two VCFs, I dunno dude. I've listened to an A6, and even the Q not the plus I find to be comparable in every aspect, and maybe superior in some too. The Q+? even with the VCO's the A6 just doesn't have that kind of flexibility, polyphony, or just outright balls. Waldorf's VCF when overdriven is fuckin MEAN. I know that well, and I have yet to hear an A6 REALLY stink out. Show me I'm wrong. I'm not afraid. I'd love to see an American polyphonic synth show the Germans what time it is, but it has yet to happen. I know Dr. Moog helped design the filters, but the A6 doesn't sound like a Moog to me. Show me Moog stink if the A6 has got it.

yeah, but... who wants a "nice guy" synth?

Doesn't yamaha/casio/rloand make some portable keyboards that come in on the "nice guy" side of things!

nah, the micro doesn't sound the same or have the same options. The Q costs more than the micro for good reason. For the price of the A6, get the Q+.
