Incredibly disappointing. The 100 Greatest Britons showed that the English TV viewers are at least interested in those who do great things... well... until The 100 Worst came on. The biggest national whinge ever :P

Thatcher was the only 'person' (using the word incredibly loosely) who really diserved to be remembered as a bad thing. Every one else were just figures of jealousy and targets of bitches. Aahh to be in England

To my delight though, Pete Waterman was in there. "This man is responsible for many attrocities to humanity that should not be ignored... ...for which he needs to be punished". I had hoped that the evil bastard wouldn't go un-noticed.

to the victors go the spoils of history. I dunno about the Constitution being just a ?"keep them appeased and in their place" documaent. Some of the folks involved in it, and its penning, although not angels by any means may have had some decent and altruistic intentions with its penning. I don't know for sure, cuz I wasn't there in its drafting. What I do now know is that it doesn't matter anymore because it's treated like a joke by the people in power now, which is what really counts.

People are rarely remembered fairly at all ever, in either direction. I LOVE M'schelle Ndegeocello's line "Maybe Judas was the better man man, and Mary stayed a virgin just to save face.." People twist the memories of others constantly. I see it here all the time. Now imagine that on a global level throughout history with all of the opinionated views of the writers thrown in, with biased attention to some events, the complete disregard or twisting of others, and one can begin to see how and why we are ALL so skewed. Nobody knows the truths of history beyond personal experiences, and even that has personal bias involved. The hundred most shit-smeared Brits? Who cares? Half of them probably didn't deserve the shit they got and the other half didn't get enough, and those talkin shit probably needed a good smear themselves. Bloody typical.

they are shite those 100 most .... programs. Full of C List virtually unknown celebs voicing their opinions on films, movie stars, most hated..etc.. I dont give a flying toss about what they think.

Pete Waterman certainly deserves to be in the list. Just below the cunt who stole my car. Oh, they have to be celebs do they ?

Sting came in at 81. Thats terrible. What the fuck has Sting ever done to deserve being voted for a worst briton. His one of the best musicians/songwriters thats ever existed. Ok, so he twats on about tantric rainforests. But he is fucking brilliant, and I want to protect him.

I lost respect for Sting the minute I saw three of his songs in ads at the same time. I mean, I understand paying the bills, but is Sting really short for money nowadays? If so, he's a fool.

oh come on, do you have any idea how much heating bills can be when you have 7 houses ??

its the same old. the more money you earn the more you spend. I bet Sting still has the same level of disposable income a month than he does when he was a teacher. Maybe even having to blow people out for a drink because its "not payday until friday".

However I do agree that he should stop letting his stuff being used by other artists. His bit of a musical prostitute.
