I'm tired of trying to do something new and different for the past 6 months, so I decided to remix an old one, since it's had a sudden resurgence in popularity.

Nothing new here, just a slight reworking. Plenty of my ol' stand-by cliches, but it feels good to finally finish something again. Maybe more will come from it. Hope you enjoy in the meantime...

Philly Ambient 2

No, I don't care about names...

Great one! The lead starting at ~3:20 might need a little eq-ing around 2 khz, but that could be because of compression...

Apart from that, everything is in the place, from the first sound to the last. Pretty awesome.

you're absolutely right, Rags... good ears! That was the one instrument from the Nova that I didn't record as audio to compress. I tried to compensate in my "quick mastering" job by bringing down 1-2k a bit on the whole mix, but couldn't do as much as I wanted without touching the rest. A remix will definitely be forthcoming, when I'm not feeling so lazy...

The melodic lead line is a bit over-the-top in places, as well.

the delays and reverbs on the arp, bass, and 16th-note air whispy thingies are the Nova's. The leads and piano went through a Rennaissance Verb and some of the Lexicon PSP42 delay thingy. technically speaking.
