I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

I dont think he deserved all the flack he got. It just shows up the public as the moronic reactionary and intolerant bunch of thicko's they are. The Brand/Ross radio show generated only a handful of complaints, yet thanks to the news coverage it managed to generate thousands more. Its pathetic, how can anyone complain/comment on a show that they didnt hear/watch.
You only have to read some of the posts on the BBC News "Have Your Say" section, on any subject, to realise just how ignorant and intolerant the majority of the public are, and get an idea of the sort of morons who would take time out to complain.
Still, all that aside. I think Friday Night With Jonathan Ross should of been taken off the schedules way before this incident. Its a boring tired old format. They should give him a more obscure show on BBC2, with more freedom to do stuff away from the mainstream.

That whole conspiracy thing about Obama not being a U.S. citizen is rubbish. That's been
going around for ages now. Thing is that he is half black and there are still a lot of racists in
the U.S. which boggles my mind but they're looking to spread anything they can think up about
him.
Then there's Rush Limbaugh who proclaimed on the airwaves "I hope Obama fails" which is
really great because in that he's telling us he hopes the country fails.
Then there's Cheney ranting about how America needs to be feared in the world. The thing is
we are feared in the world. He and Bush were voted in for 2 terms. People around the world
saw that happen and thought "now that's scary". Then he rants about Gitmo, his argument
being that closing Gitmo and releasing any of the prisoners would be dangerous because
they'd go back to being terrorists. Funny thing is that he hammers home his point by telling
everyone he knows that would happen because the Bush administration let handfuls of them
out and that's what they did. That's like someone saying if he tries robbing that bank someone
is going to get hurt and he knows because he robbed it yesterday and people got hurt. If
Cheney's argument was true, he indicted himself.
Honestly the only reason I have any hope the U.S. is going to climb out of this economic hole
is that the country has climbed out of holes in the past. I have my fingers crossed but Wall
Street really did a number on everyone. The Wall Street mavens called themselves Masters of
the Universe? Try Disasters of the Universe.
And a bird told me this joke. Why is snow like a man? You never know just when it's going to
come and you're not sure how many inches you're going to get.
