I'm from detroit. Very unfortunatly, nobody in detroit listens or produces techno anymore. I played a party on the weekend, played all techno and about 10 people of 2000 danced. It's always like this for techno in detroit. It's dead. Don't get me wrong, I love techno to death. Just in detroit, it ain't happening.

That is sad, move to London man! There is quite a healthy Techno scene here, I've been into it since day one. Here's some of my faves:

1 Model 500 - No UFOs
2 Psyche - Elements
3 Rhythim is Rhythim - It is what it is
4 Drexciya - Davey Jones locker
5 R-Tyme - R theme
6 First Base - Separate minds
7 Model 500 - The chase
8 Rhythim is Rhythim - Sinister
9 Carl Craig - At les
10 U.R - Do not allow yourself to be programmed.

I think all these tracks are groundbreaking classics - Peace

Don't forget Model-500's "Interfierence" 12". A damn fine piece of wax. Cybersonic did great stuff as well.

There are a few tracks that have the 303 in them on my site. See the url above. The tracks were done in the summer of 99 and they are all done live with a mmt-8. New stuff is in the works!
