Welder, I run my two-track bounce through IK Multimedia's T-Racks.. monitoring on a set of old JAMO CL120s, burn down to 44.1KHz CD then test on a variety of other systems, trust my ears (mostly), write notes, go back to the mix if necessary and then re-tweak the master, reburn to CD.. rince and repeat..
I'm sure there's a science to it in there somewhere but...

Thanks for the info anyway, I use a similar setup, and yes, it is science, its called "the iterative approach".

i like the girl a lot.
i like the tune a lot...and i really like the way the different sounds get pulled in over time (especially that last synth-sound.....very nice).
my only suggestion would be to lay off on the reverb in a couple places...and let the girl pop-up towards the front for a stretch...
reverse that at some point and let the drums dry-out and stick nicely in your face.
this one'll be worth mixing and remixing over time.
