Just reading Future Music during lunch break. This Black Dog article was talking about the "Blue" plug-ins he uses. He was saying how good they were and they are free. Can you download them off the net and does anyone know a link?

course.. 4.8.1 is great with the vstis and all but apart from that i was really quite happy with 4.0. i could copy notes in the matrix editor and then edit them w/o the edit affecting the note i just copied it from and screwing everything up. no, i think i'll just stick with what i have, thankyouverymuch.

Sorry to hear that Xoxos. They work fine for me. They're very good plugins but there are others that are good. I'm still slobbering all over Reaktor. I've tried only a couple of their fx. Fx heaven and fx hell are 2 sides of the same coin.

Finally!!! A decent VST Filter! I have been looking for a decent filter for a loooong time. I am happy now. The compressor certainly does the job as well! It's the best software compressor plugin for dance music that I have heard!

Nice On1!

Steve.

The reverb is nice too. I used it on the drums in my last DnB track. Gave them "that" sound.

I've become familar with theses blue plug-ins now for a little while. I think the Logic Native plug-ins are so much better. The LOgic Compressor is miles ahead in terms of dynamics and loudness.

However, it's already been said but I have to strongly agree. The Blue Reverb (drum preset) is absolutely perfect. Sitar, your right, it's just got THAT sound.
