I am interested in change. On one hand I think the world doesn't and the change is in my perception, on the other events/movements such as the internet comes along unifying and changing practices. Then again i think it doesn't matter and experience/knowledge is some means to a scale to allow measurement

Whatever, my comment is about change. I say that there are large modifiers in action at this time (media and content blurring (data/information/knowledge), unification of language, cultural convergence (including political and commercial) continental state formation, accepted derision of 'liberal (whatever that means) values and increasing military build up in the absence of opposition.

So the question is - WFT is going on

personally....i can abide a good honest argument. but this starts to remind me a little of that SS guy who told me to never write him...he was never gonna respond to my shit and then starts up with all that feces fallin off my face crap....and e-mailing ME all the time???!?!?!

is this the definition of us and them. History (as well as most science) springs from a categorisation philosophy, which sadly was applied within populations of the same species. A perfectly understandable trait as it coddles 'I' and gives weight and profit to 'us'.

I was walking down a street in Reading (England) - its quite a nasty place, 100 years ago it was a villaige now it is a concrete place full of overpaid IT guys and BMW's, anyway, I was seeing this guy walking toward me down the town centre, he was wearing a pringle golf sweater and under it (and with the logo just visible over the neck of the sweater) a paul smith T shirt. Now i do not say this to piss on the guys choice or lack of dick, sorry financial sense- it is to introduce an evolutionary mechanism found in all rich ecologies. Difference (ahh change after all). and Paul Smiths 'evolutionary mechanism' is quite interesting - started as a buyer for Courtaulds I beleive, grew to own a huge clothing empire
