First off...I have a pc because I do dtp for a living. I started out using "real" instruments too (guitar,drums etc) and just later discovered making music with a computer. Now believe me I would rather have a 909, 808, Juno, etc. etc. and everything else you lucky people diss/brag about. But I don't: either I can't afford it or there's none to be had around here. Now is that going to stop me from making music? NO! So I make do with what limited resources I have; I already have a computer so I use it instead of dreaming about the day when I finally have Real World Instruments. You may be an authority on electronic music but you know nothing about struggling people/musicians on the other side of the planet. It's narrow-minded people like you that suck creativity NOT COMPUTERS. (I do have a little 606, I'm terribly sorry for that...)

yup........forget all the crap.....If you can get a track together with a few cheap or free softs & some
loops, then go for it....... you dont need to have heaps of gear.....
I can guarantee you there are a few guys in this town I know of getting some jungle & other stuff
out on 12" simply using an old version SAW 4 track and some sample cd's.......so just do it !!....you can always add some hardware stuff to the system as you go along

What the fuck is so creative about sampling cd ? Buy a record player and scour 2nd hand-shops for sweet ol' vinyl.
Besides, by the time all you phuckers get your shit straight the flavour of the month sounds on your lamestation, mc-303, cs-whatever will be something alot richer than a bloody sin wav thru a vcf.
You all probably dig the Chemicals eh ? Blat !

YOU COULD USE REBIRTH FOR A WHOLE HEAP 'O DIFFERENT TYPES OF MUSIC. SURE, THE GUYS WHO MADE IT R PROBABLY TECHNO, BUT I'VE HEARD THE 909 USED ON HEAPS OF OLD HIP HOP- SCHOOLLY D, MANTRONIX, ETC, ETC. WARREN G COULD USE 303S. ITS JUST HOW YA PROGRAM EM THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. AS FOR USING COMPUTERS TO MAKE MUSIC, THAT'S COLL, AS LONG AS IT AINT A MAC.

Music i prefer the Tracks with the two 303s and
a 808...
When i am partying and want to have some
Fun i prefer the Clubs where i can hear Tracks
the two 303s and a 909...
I like this Mix (2x303+1*808)

PPPPPPS: You can use Hammerhead and Rebirth together
when you record the Patterns as WAVs and mix
them together in a Sound File Editor (Cool Edit
for Example) or put them into your Sampler- or
Soundcard�s RAM and mix them in Cubase !

well I aint got this mysterious 909 patch...........i thought someone sent it to me but if they did, I lost it in the mirky depths of 6gb's of HD space........so er.........who's got it ?
