Actualy i just was in Spain for 3 days and they play this female vocal pop-trance stuff on the FM radio there alot.... well, if that's all it takes to make money with 'trance' in Spain, I think i'll have a go myself & churn out some stuff to flog off in Espana & invest in a nice beachside villa !! - perhaps you should approach some spanish labels Bene cos trust me, your stuff is identical to the stuff on the small station commercial radio.

thanks for your advice *gg...
Yes I think a villa in spain is better than one in Germany ;)
Hmm I think dancetech.com is not for me,
I have always trouble, even with you (I remember a discussion about new Nova Soundbanks....)
I think one reason for this is the language barrier,
maybe I dont understand everything how it is really ment
and I cant explain everything understandable...
Hmm but in spite of people as Xoxos, Mon(k)eyboy etc you have written a lot of good arguments,
your last posting I ve read last night was very constructive.
It is (was) important for me to learn how to make a professional sound, and to produce songs a lot of people want to listen to, not a minority.
My first vinyl-release (remix of a trance song)
is a little bit different from the radio-versions I ve done,
there is a long break and more "ups" and "downs",
not everything on the same level (this is what you have mainly criticised [right spelled? *arf;)
So I have seen this problem since a few month and I´m trying to improve this,
but the "Sound" was more important for me before, the basis to produce really perfect trance-pop-tracks in the future.
Greetings to you ;)

oh and something else. in our culture, we use devices such as facetiae in our conversation, which allows us to describe multiple ideas.. it is conventional practice for the listener to then discern the most pertinent meaning and respond in turn.
unfortunately, the meanings you have chosen of my words indicate that you're quite defensive and combative. that can happen.
when i suggested that this forum was concerned with technique, and not advertising, you slammed me..
then you go on in your response to kilo about how *are* interested in improving your technique, presumably by exchanging opinions/ideas, except you never indicated that previously, only that you were interested in advertising, which is not why we're here. you want insight on your builds? this is the place, but you have to be able to articulate yourself well enough to communicate intent clearly.
so why did you slam me when instead you could have said.. "advertising? i am not advertising, i am looking for anyone's constructive criticism on my technique..." but NOOOOO, you just shot me down.
people chided you for your commercialism (*why* is commercialism a problem? have to have been here for a few years to know that... back when mp3.com used to give people free money for the # of people they could trick into checking out their sample cd loop crap...)
....instead of taking this as the cue to elaborate on *why* you posted and build some sort of platform for *discourse* you just shat fire.
let me tell you something. i've been listening to the 'amateur' musicians who come here for three years now, and different people develop different areas of talent.. some go for timbres, some for builds, et c, so even though one of them might not have what it takes to make a track sound 'slick' or whatever bullshit, between the two of them, they can still improve. you want to interact? let's interact, but i've only got time for constructive relationships.
now you know what that means. i don't have time to spell it out like this every day for you, so please pay attention. you want war, you got war.. ...want to see real burning? then merry christmas, ho ho ho. you want a forum that allows people to exchange ideas and information, you come here and articulate yourself.

anyways, i might dislike 'pop trance' repetitive pattern/timing quality, but i can discuss it on an intellectual or production basis regardless of my likes or dislikes... and for me, if it's got a vocal, and the pattern/parts are VERY repetitive with few cross-patterns and everything on the same feel/beat, then it needs more than ever some higher strength in the overlayed vocal arrangement & hook production if it's going to stand out at all from the fodder of that genre & be better than average and remain in the mind of the listener...

nice talking, xoxos. but...i guess, you forgot something. system came in here in a friendly matter...just scroll to the top...and there was a very friendly apeman, who hypocritical started with:
i hope i dont offend you.....blah
and, at least...was flaming like "worst piece of music...cheestastic pop pickers"...haha.
and there is a forum-hero called influx, who hadnt heard the track, talking about "glad, not to waste his time"...and you, xoxos....spelling crap....
all nice and easy, no need to cry...huh?
well boys. you are smart. *yaaaawwn*

do you guys EVER participate in ANYTHING we talk about here? have you ever helped a newbie sort out his computer problems (well..maybe I otta be careful on that one )
that was an attempt at advertising and some of us trip on that. monkeyboy thought it was SHIT so he said so
I actually went to listen but the site is so damn disorganized I didnt see the track (but Im senile really, so)
the funniest part is the attitude. you guys (girls?) both clearly think that youre on top, got it all figgered out, so LET IT GO!
system85 even said he doesnt need listeners? then why post?
I aint no..what did you call me..."forum-hero"? what the hell is that?
xoxos spelled it out VERY clearly for you and youre still talkin like a 3 year old who got scolded. I can hear the lilt in your voice
look, you write POP music, no? the idea behind POP music is to MAKE MONEY, no? some of us dont agree with that
like you said, its a free country. so some of us who dont agree have the right to TALK AS MUCH SHIT AS WE WANT ALL DAY LONG AND ALL NIGHT TOO
yes. thank you very much
