So in these modern days of cheep thrills and overly production in everything, good flicks are few and far between. What I want to know is...

What is your favorite line from a movie, and what kind of relevance does it have for you, etc?

Ie. Mines gotta be Humnphery Bogart at the end of the Maltese Falcon, and he is asked about the statue in his hands, he says...

"This is the stuff dreams are made of?"

Why? Because ONLY Bogart could of said it.

btw. keep it simple

It's not really one line. But I love that scene in Pulp Fiction when Christopher Walken is explaining to a young Bruce Willis about his farther's watch. It's my favourite bit of film dialogue.

LOL @ K and his chewy quote. Funny.

little late here but I gotta point out a few (Bladerunner, of coarse):

"I want more life, fucker." When Rutger Hauer says Fucker to Mr. Tyrell...wow- for some reason it gives me chills. The word "fuck" has never been used more powerfully than in that scene. Probably my favorite line in any movie..just so powerful.

"We're stupid and we'll die" - (Pris to Roy)

Sums up my outlook on life..one of my good friends and I say it all the time

"Fiery the angels fell. Deep thunder rolled about their shores... burning with the fires of Orc." - Roy

So cool...

"Let me tell you about my mother" BANG - Leon

Awesome

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die." - Roy

One of my favorite scenes of all time..beautiful

mine is from braveheart-

Aye, fight and you may die...run and you'll live... at least a while, and dying in your beds many years from now, Would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, JUST ONE CHANCE to come back here and tell our enemies that you can take our lives, but you can never take our freedom

sends a shiver everytime I hear it, funny how a 5 foot Australian can have that effect, lol

"Everytime they make a Robin Hood movie the burn our village down!"
