well, whatever the upshot of this, I think it's fair to say that steinberg , I feel,...and this is just an opinion..... had an oppertunity there to show some roots, or to be a corporate.....:-)
it's how steinberg are going to be percieved that is the issue....... already they have a disproportionate share of criticism from users in the marketplace, I dont really know of another music software company that creates so much negativity from user musicians...... In an instance like this, they could have said it was cool and checked out and offered to distribute the patch themselves.... it's what people want dammit !!!.... and the old saying goes....the customer is always right !!.... but then i'm an old fashioned boy :-).... heh heh......
