I found an S2000 at an auction and I was jsut wondering what a "good" price would be-I dont have a lot of cash, and the starting bid is very low for this thing, so I wondered how high I should go if I want to be able to get a deal-I have no idea how much these things cost-Anyone?

nice one bob............ another 'Pro' industry fact no doubt.....

well mate (to the original poster).... just watch out... remember the price you bid is usually EX sales tax..
..and EX auctioneers commision, (which can be 20%).......

I have compared the esi32 to a s2000 and the esi32 has a warmer,richer sound.
I doubt very much if the akai is an industry standard because it is the better product.
Look at betamax,it's better than vhs but still died....

YO, THEY FUCKING CALLED IT NINTENDO 64 BECAUSE IT IS A 64-BIT SYSTEM, NOT A 32 OR 16 BIT.

No way Bob man! There is this guy who makes music with his Commodore 64 (as lead instrument) and it is actually published too! Hell, it's even good!!! It's called 'The horrible plans of Flex Busterman' by Patric C. and it rules! Dump your ZX81 and get a Commodore 64 today! Btw, why didn't they call that game thingie Nintendo 4000 then? It has 4000K ram...

I bought a new one for 800.00 a few years ago. i am in italy in the navy so needles to say, a great deal was probably what i got being all the way over here. Anyway,
if you realy want the sampler which is a great one if you ask me, make sure you know what its loaded with as far as ram and other options, then check the price of a new one.
while you thinking of your bid, think of how much you and only you are willing to sacrifice of your hard earned dollars. I chose to consider it an investment in yourself.
good luck!
