Hello there...I'm looking to pick up a new source of sounds. I have an Orbit, an XP-50, a Juno 106, and a Emu Sampler........I need something with excellent sounds and capabilities. I'm willing to spend a fair amount. So, any suggestions anyone!?

Yup...Thanks, I know there all good, but I'm kinda looking for peoples personal opinion as to one particular piece of kit, being more specific. I was thinking about the VIRUS or the does anyone know anything about the Waldorf WAVE.....or something along the lines of a powerful new synth.

Thank .........Bren.

Kawai k5000's are getting really cheap, at least in America. You can get a brand-new rack for under $500, and it comes with Sound Diver s/w that lets you calculate and re-synthesize your own samples. I had one once (k5000w, actually traded it in for an e6400), and will definitely get another one.

A Waldorf Wave will set you back 5k. The Microwave XT is absolutely wonderful. 44 knobs 8 arpeggiators and it's orange.
