how do i write single programs in performance mode ?
without changing to program mode
and loosing all the changes ?

set Global nmemory-protect to OFF.... then go to performance... click the desired part-button, (1-8).. allocate it's midi channel with MIDI button.... set it's polyphony and the volume controls it's er... volume..., and then simply select sound for that part with bank & +/- keys... then save and you are promted to also save the sound changes (if you edited the allocated sound at all inc' it's fx settings) you can also re-name at the save point (click on WRITE to save when in Performance mode

i never tried this cause i thought
this would stricly overwrite sounds in the same place
