http://www.itbutikken.dk

Who seem quite cheap.. Athlon XP2100+ Coolermaster "Quiet" fan, £107 inc Shipping!!!

They even got a webcam showing the dude packing your order! What's up wit dat? Big brother watching you or something?!?!

Overclockers.co.uk aren't bad either....

well look, i have a trade account with a supplier who I can get to mail the package to any addresss. i could order packages for people nextday delivery. xp2000 cpu is £55 quid dont have a 2100 price only xp2200 @ £105 quid - the Asus A7V333 for Socket A I used for the last DT build is down to £68.10 - so about 125 quid for board/xp2000 combi (I paid £160+ for both 4 months ago!) + whatever for the cooler according to wether you want to add quietness or economy.

Being in Ireland, I use komplett.ie, but they're the cheapest place over here, by quite a margin.

they are doing the xp2000 for £80.47 + delivery (I assume that inc' vat) - if it IS with vat that's not bad cos my place does it with nextday delivery AND vat for ££88.42

I used a cheaper drive in mine (40gb maxtor) - just add a screen, my build runs everything, tons of synths & fx etc, a complete workstation.

That's sweet!

I'm not complaining too much about the £107 I paid for XP2100+ & Fan (inc VAT and Delivery).. There seems to be roughly £20 difference in price between the 2000+ and the 2100+ which puts what I paid roughly in line with those prices above..

Hmmm... it's 21% here in Belgium so be happy!!!

For the Belgian people: check out www.comtechnology.net. They have very good prices if you order through their website but generally have to wait about 1 week before your order is ready for pickup (they also do COD if you want).

By the way... I ordered a gigabyte ga-7vrx with an xp2000 and it works no-problemo with my delta/66. It's even bloody ing fast. I also got a zalman cpu cooler, which is really (oh thank you god) very quiet when in silent mode.

Big plus for people without midi interface or soundcard is that the ga-7vrx has a midi port and soundcard (even with s/pdif possibility) built in. But I disabled both because I don't need them.

Now I just need to find a new good, dual vga-card, preferable one without a cooler or a very quiet one. Any suggestions ?
