In the manual, it states that Logic will automatically convert all Akai format samples into interleaved files.

So this means that all the stereo drums on the CD-Rom will infact become a mono mix of both L&R?

And so, will it convert the CD samples into WAV files onto my PC hardrive?

1. no, they're still stereo, interleaved stereo, it's just a file format i think, not sure.

2. yeah. though i think it keeps all the samples in the sample instrument folder, which is a pain in the arse. you could move them after though.
