Could someone out there maybe make a step by step tutorial on making a say jungle track using a Akai S3000XL, sequencer, and some samples. I'm just looking for different methods on how to produce tracks using this hardware. Curious as to how people setup their tracks. Any help would be great!

well, using the sampler is not the issue - if you know how to use the sampler, then you wanna know how to put a track together, and if you don't know, then it wont matter what sampler it is... basically tho, you need to create a map of your drum samples put them on keys ascending, and assign that 'programme' (top-level) to a midi channel... that is your drum-sounds channel - usually channel 10 in GM
next, setup your loops you plan to use (or parts of loops), and assign them to keys on another Programme, and assign that to another midi channel - that is your loops & breaks channel
now load up a test sine wave or load a bass-synth patch to annother channel, and you have 3 programmes on 3 channels... drums, breaks/part-breaks & bass -
... as you setup these programmes, save them to disks so you can load-up the three programmes later ... now create...
