see igot a s 1000 pb (no sampling in)
and a mpc 2000 heres the deal to get samples on the s 1000 im having to drop via recycle through midi which if you have ever dropped via midi you know it sucks my question is there a way to drop via scsi or can i convert wav through the mpc to s 1000 format help this is stifling my creative process

you can wire up the two samplers to a scsi card and do it all thru soundforge or wavelab etc (i don't use recycle - does it have scsi support?) - the only problem with this is most samplers have only 1 scsi port, no chain port to pass thru to the next item - not sure how you'd solve that one - anyone? (also assume both units have scsi fitted)

or use akaidisk and convert to s100 and load via disks - scsi option'll be best tho - check out akai's site (www.akaipro.com) there is lotsa scsi documents online there

in case anyone needs to know installed recycle 1.6 and used the dos drivers then scsi to the akai works great

maybe in the new year if you've time you could write something to explain how you did that in steps.. i'd be interested to know how it went...
