anyone know how to assign sequences to keys so you can fire them from a keyboard

Hi dru,

I don't know if you want the keyboard to be able to trigger different sequences or just the currently selected one. For triggering different sequences (ie trigger seq#1 with C1, trigger seq#2 with C2, etc.), I don't know of a way to do this.

However, if you have sliders or controls or pedals which can transmit CC messages, you can set up your MPC so that a CC message will start the sequence and a different CC message will stop it. I bought a couple of footswitch boxes from Midi Solutions which, when connected to a pedal do exactly this. The first pedal will start a sequence (play start), and the second pedal will stop it.
