I know the fader acts as a realtime controller for the sample pads, but does it do anything when on a midi track? (edit in controller data values ect)....r my wet dreams of mpc just dreams!!?

I don`t think u can use the slider 2 control midi - I just had a little go at it after reading your question and u can only assign it 2 1 of the pads.

As 4 the FX, do u mean with the slider? Cos u can`t do that (assuming your talking about the internal FX board here). U can use midi sysex 2 alter the parameters but, as far as I know, thats about it.

thanks for your effort R-Tek, man I could really c the fader as a tool to insert cc & control outboard gear (it would rock!, bummer.. as for the fx I din't mean by the fader, just in general.. but I asume u can, since it din't even cross u'r mind

thanks for the reply
