here's a tip: if u wan't to build up a track from a pattern but u need to un/mute to get the build and sice the MPC doesn't record Mutes, u'll have to copy & erase ect. even though this is done really fast on the MPC, u can do it like this:
-Make a sequence
-copy if X times
-mute and umnute tracks on each sequence; delete unused tracks
-convert all of these to a song
Now you can stop here, but you can't edit this song
the way you would a .mid sequence, i.e. you can edit
each individual sequence...so, you convert from song
back to sequence...et voila.
keep em coming.....
