Does anyone of you guys know whether the 8output expansion board for the s2000 is the same board for expanding the MPCXL?
I want to expand my s2000, but I am also planning to sell it and buy a MPC later on. Then I would like to keep the board....

It *is* the same board, but I think it may have a slightly different design, though I`m not sure. As far as the sampler goes, the MPC is actually a downgrade from the S2k anyway......one helluva sequencer though.
