How do you save global settings as in midi synching so I don't have to set each time I turn on the mpc.

Do I have to set the synch settings every time I start it?

Also, is there a way to Stretch or compress a loop without losing pitch? Or setting it to a new pitch without losing/gaining length. I am guessing the time stretcher does this??? Haven't used it yet and I hear it's really slow.

Time-strech, yes.To tell you the truth, I havn't even gotten round to using/ learning to use it yet! Still getting familiar with this piece of equipment...
Sync settings are saved along with your sequences.

Hi,

I believe that you have to save your sequences as an ALL file (all songs and sequences) and not simply as a single sequence for the sync settings to be saved.

Saving a single sequence won't do it.

HTH,
