You first need the USB card IB-S56USB in your sampler. You got that already? I tried to get one just like 2 days ago but Guitar Center and Sam Ash didn't have any info and couldn't even give me a price. Where did you get it???

Ok. GuitarCenter finally got back to me. The USB card costs $119. Its a special order that will take about 3 weeks to get in (damnit). I'll go order it this weekend.

ak.sys is the ultimate tool for s5000 users.

it will make yo unit complete and all those emu/yammy suckers envious (although they would never admit it).

the usb board is in extreme shortage all over the world. luckily i had my when the first batch arrived.

at last, the future is akai again (i had my doubts before v2 and ak.sys came out).

don't give up on the hunt, it'll be worth it.

yeah fucking right there hommie dog. s5000 is the best. i had emu/yam sucks corporate ass.... and othesr but i did like the eps, wish i stilll had it/.

the sampler of today is s5000 endorsed by me , ha

You know i can finally use the 5000 w/ the V2. that no portamento or mono mode fucked me up for a minute.USB for $119 thatz cheap.The 5000 finally works like it should.Yammy/Emu?not even close.
