I recently bought a Matrix 6. Iīm very happy with the sound exept for one thing. It seems that one of the six voices has a different filter setting than the others. The result is that when this voice plays it sounds brighter than the others.
I have done the "number 50 - something" in the in the main menu, which is supposed to tune the filters. The OS version is 2.13.

Please help me

/Andreas

I no longer think itīs the filter. Itīs more like thereīs an extra overtone on one voice. Rather annoying.

try going thru different keyboard tracking modes in the edit pages. sometimes when its set to rotate or rearob it seems to do this more. ive learned to use it or work around it.also, very important to calibrate OFTEN, especially when doing lots of programming.

I fixed - I think. I let two of the chips change places to try to find out which chip was broken. When the chips were put back into their new places, the noise disappeared. Strange. Buying new chips arenīt that expensive anyway - if they should break. I think theyīre about 15$ a pair.
