Has anyone gotten this mod or done business with these guys. This mod is what I've been waiting for for a while. I almost bought the kenton kit, but I'm not qualified for installation and it was an overseas deal and a royal pain to aquire.Plus this mod takes the 101 to another planet. I don't want to ship my baby to anyone before checking them out any info would help.

My buddy Obis did this to his and has also done the mod for Abe Duque. I've used his modded 101 and it is one of the illest synths I've ever heard. It's on my list of must haves. Do it. The Lab are sound guys, no bullshit. Just talk to them. You'll see.

I did talk with The Lab and they are no longer taking orders for the novamod,and there is no kit offered at this time. -Brett

Yeah, they do that shit from time to time. Won't release the thing cuz they have something new in store. They did the same thing for version two. maybe they're still working on that one. Obis did a version one, and it's nuts. They pulled similar shit with MW editors. The only drag is that they used to be free, then they pulled them, released the versions for the MW2 for cash, then left the original MW1 versions for mnths, and I'm not sure that they fully support the MW1 again or not.

Phillip at TheLab said they are not doing the mod because of a new job he has and now he doesn't have time, and that a kit will be available with a video as soon as he has time to put it together. Do you think they are just buying time? There web page for the nova mod hadn't been updated since last year. I'm worried I found the mod of my dreams, and now, I'll never hear it. -Brett
