Hi, I have a Moog/Realistic MG-1 and it has become very noisy lately. The cutoff pot is starting to go bad, could that have something to do with it? It almost sounds as though the noise generator is bleeding into the signal. Could the noise level pot be going bad as well? if anyone has some insight that would be great. thanks/

maybe replacing the pot would b your best bet - not a hard job if u can find a replacement and have a little experience with a soldering iron. Failing that, maybe just a bit of a clean and some contact spray could do the job.

Thanks for the insight. i actually have a replacement pot, but it isn't with me right here to swap out. I have to get it and new soldering iron. Hopefully that will do it. peace
