alright, i'm very new to this to bear with me,

i've purchased a very fast pc w/ plenty of ram and h/d space. i've read the specs on this new TB card (to be shipped later this week) and i'm wondering if i'll have any problems using it with Cubase VST, which i plan to get. I'm not sure about this ASIO driver thing so any information would be very helpful. My friend has the Ensoniq PCI and it sounds great, but i'm just trying to get the best for my money. The Montego (PCI)i believe is $130.

The basic question is: will a brand new soundcard be able to be used with VST to it's full capabilities right off the bat?

Any help is greatly appreaciated.
