hi there,

Is there that big of a difference in speed when accessing Sample RAM from the card itself or via the system memory? I'm planning on purchasing a card and am really wondering if it's that bad, especially with the new PCI cards coming out. I've heard answers from "no difference at all" to "system RAM to store/access samples will cause terrible lag." anyone know the real deal?
