Big frustration that I haven't been able to pin down - when my Sony PCM-R300 is hooked up to the S/PDIF output of my AWE64 and set to record/monitor source, the first second or so of every new file played gets stepped on in the following way:
Say I have a batch of WAV's or MP3's - I load up a batch player so I can drop them on DAT. When a new file begins, I hear something from my deck (almost like a relay), and then everything runs fine - unfortunately, the beginning of the track doesn't get recorded. I have no problems with my Denon CD player's S/PDIF output, so I'm assuming it's the card or the drivers sending SOMETHING the deck doesn't like. Has anybody else had this problem? PLEASE email me!
