Dear somebody,

I would like to know if it is possible to hang a Iomega Zip plus drive onto a Casio FZ1. If it is and somebody already developped software (preferably on a floppy so I can install it through the 'opt software' in the FZ's menu) for this scheme, then I am 1 of the happiest persons on this planet, so please let me know what you know.
By the way, any other set up to link a FZ1 sampler with a (removable)hard disk through it's 25 pin port at the back is welcome.
Thanks a zillion on advance to the person who will help me out.

Sincerely yours.
Hobb Faber Jr.

No it is not possible to attatch either a HD or a Zip to
your FZ1 through that port.
It was only developed to take care of comunication between
two FZ1 units.

One way that i have heard of, is to attatch the FZ to
your computer via a paralell cable.
I do not know how this cable should be soldered (ie built).
But if you get a scheme (via the net maybe) you can build
a cable and dump samples to your computer.
Then you can store everything on your HD or whatever.

Awave can handle the samples from the FZ. It can also convert it to wav or something else so you can use em
on your PC. It can recieve dumps from either the cable
i was writing about, or via SDS....

If you find the discriptions on how to configure that
cable please mail me ! ( Floatpoint@hotmail.com )

Im to lazy to track it down....

Thomas
