Are there such users in this chat room? if so, maybe you can help. If I record (2 tracks)
of audio, CW, allows only a couple of seconds of recording, then decides to terminate
the take. I think that it may have something to do with the DMA settings under
Audio/Project Options. Can any body tell me the best buffer size etc etc required for these DMA settings for this card?? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Brad

Im useing the same setup... cake7 and TB Montego... but Ive never experienced any problems like that. I know this sounds rediculous... but do you have enough hard disk space? The audio eats up hard disk space really fast. As far as the DMA settings and all that go.... just use the wave profiler to automatically set all those settings... there should be a button for this somewhere in your audio settings. I used this to set all my audio settings and everything seems to be working just fine. Maybe when I get home tonight Ill post all the settings Im using and you can try useing those and see how it works. Good luck.

Problem is solved. I instead of using the 2nd in the list, I used the top of the list default setiing as supplied by CWPA7 under audio harware, and probelm has dissappeard. By the way, I have a 6.4 Gig h/d installed.
Have you seen the tuorial for using plug-in effects?? The tutorial shows compression facilities, yet 7 does not have it, I wonder if 8 will have these type of tools?? Hope so.

Regards

Brad
