Ok So E-MU releases a card too...great...
I am thinking of either yamaha dsp 2416 factory or this E-mu Aps thing
Concrete diffrences?? Signal to noise ratio?? Mips??
Is it really true that the E-mu chip is that much faster then the one in the Yamaha??
And has anyone tried the yamaha with a decent softwarepackage like Acid,cakewalk, cubase,Cool edit pro etc???

And when the hell is mixtreeeme supposed to be released??

i think the pertinent thing here is that yamaha are very big,,,,, and there is a strong likelyhood that the interface to control the card via the panels in cake, vst & logic will never materialise with the emu card.....whereas, they are slated for release with the yamaha dsp unit.... that may be relevent
