The APS looks like a great sampler.
I know that the editor (vienna 2.3) allows you to set up lots of modulation routings like the 'cords' on EOS.
It even has cool modulation destinations like sample start/end for some wacky sample and beat manipulation.


But what about the filters!? From my investigations it still seems to have the same old 2p lowpass filter that my old AWE32 card has had for eternity (4 yrs)

If Emu gave it some decent filters (at least a HP and perhaps a BP) and upped the ante on vienna a bit - while I'm at it a nice simple rackmount breakout box - then you would have....

... an emu e4 (or ultra!) killer.

aha...

i guess now we know why it has the same crappy filter algorithm as the sb live.
