This is a soundcard well worth checking out in terms of price/performance. Only $US199 and features a number of cool things (also all samples are stored on board and not in the PC's RAM as for the APS card + no limits in sample size given available RAM).

My local music store (actually the store where Nord Lead synths make all their premieres) here in Sweden highly recommends this card and claims it sounds better than cards significantly higher priced. Also, I have been down at the store listening to the card and it was virtually noise free.

Anyway, I will get back to you after Christmas once I have bought the card and give you an update on what I think.
