Rebirth is audio, it won't synch to the midi tracks perfectly, whatevever is your PC our soundcard (350 - 256 mb ram here).
Try to record any sequenced source into audio (an external synth, sampler, tape or whatever). it should be perfect. but you'll notice it has a lag and u have to make everything manually to be in the ridhm.
So if u have an audio+midi sequencer, try to make either All midi track; or all audio tracks, not both.
With rebirth (like any other internal/external audio source), you will have to remake everything manually, but cut and move manipulations.... boring, and not music.
This is also true for asio tracks (vst).
I don't have rebirth , so i didn't try Cubase 3.6 REWIRE thing, but ppl says its better... who knows
