I have a bit of a problem with my Cubase vst , I own a 400 PII, 128 ram computer with the soundblaster 64 value soundcard, I have made a song on my computer,
I use 20 audio channels with at least 8 realtime efx and now my computer is starting to crash. I need to be able to use more realtime efx at the same time. I think I need a new souncard with a PCI processor and I donīt want it to be to expensive.
Then I got informed that sounblaster had a soundcard called sblive with a good PCI processor, will this card solve my problem?

And is it noise free?........my sb64 sucks hard

one more question: Can you put filters such as cutoff, resonance etc with an external midi controller device on the sounds you samples with the soundfont editor?
