My tahiti won't work at all on my new P2 Win95b bx system. The drivers scew win95 completely. The latest driver are dated January 98!! Can this be true???? Are Turtle Beach serious?? Perhaps they want me to throw the tahiti and buy a Pinnicle. Or is anyone out ther having better luck??

any advice?

sruti

I have the tahiti card and Win95 SR2. It has been working great for me. Cakewalk works great(V.&7) and all my games (not old crappy DOS ones of course) work great. I just used the DirectX drivers from turtle beach's home page and seemed to work fine. You may want to check your IRQ/ADDR settings as they are hard configured on the card and may be conflicting with something else in your system.

Mmm,

just got this from TB themselves. Maybe this is useful to other tahiti sufferers? I'll tell you if it doesn't work!

"sruti,

Your new hardware has an unreported conflict with the Tahiti.
Try a different memory range, but if that is not enough- change
the default I/O address away from 290 via the DIP switches to
another location (such as 3E0).

i added the new (!!) drivers for directx.... the tahiti runs ok.... it just was crap with VST versions below 3.553..... works a dream with logic & wavelab etc..... fine... Logic never looses it.... the sound quality of the tahiti is excellent for the money you can get them for secondhand (if you are lucky to see one)..
