I know I'm slow and a novice, but I just purchased the SW1000XG and am wondering if I can plug into the mini stero analog input plug a:
1) mini stereo to 1 mono 1/4 in.
2) mini stereo to 2 RCA jacks

My purpose will always be to record a mono guitar or mono vocal. Also, being a novice I find the instructions supplied with the card to be assuming that I know too much. Is there any other instructional material out there - or possibly someone out there who I could Email on a regular basis for assistance until I become more familiar with the software?

Go to Radioshack or a music store and get the adapters you need. They make just about every size coversion you can think of. 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch stereo to two mono. Two 1/4 to one 1/8 stereo. ect.
