Has anyone else noticed that the EOS samplers are unable to move the sample start to a different location within a sample? I find this quite strange. This is the first sampler I've owned that does not have the ability to change the sample start parameter.

Therefore, you can't have multiple voices playing the same sample with different sample starts. No fun.

I sure am glad I still kept my ASR-X.

John,
Go to /edit preset/tuning/voice modifiers/Start offset or Delay.

Any of these parameters do what your talking about.

Well alright!!!! Thank you very much...whoever you were.

Btw, the sampler is an old e64, and I don't a manual. I guess I should have been more specific.

You can even change the loop start parameter in realtime (effectively doing transwaving or wavetabling).

There should also be a destination in the cord matrix with sstart in it.

The manuals can be found at Emu's site as PDF, but I suspect it might differ a bit from the older EOS version...
