I am having a problem with my Esi32 mistakenly thginking the sample memory is full. I have 32M installed, according to my Master>Memory Available. When I load a bank of kits of 580k, then try to load a preset from another bank, it tells me my sample memory is full. Any ideas? The preset I try to load is only 150k.

In case it is important, the kits were transferred by Recycle.

Hi Ferg,

The problem, I believe, is when you have too many samples loaded, not how much space the samples actually take up. Most samplers that I have seen have a limitation in that they can address a certain number of samples at any given time. Even though you've only used up 580 kB, you've probably loaded up the maximum number of samples that the esi can hold (either 128 or 256, I imagine).

HTH,
Fernando
