i understand alot of their synths are being put into roms for the 2000 (ie. orbit) but are there any drawbacks rather than buying the original products??
the same goes for the new virtuoso, would this been seen in a proteus rom and how would that differ?
thanx for advice
regards

The virtuoso and P2k are the same exact machine (thats with P2k OS 1.21. It's a free upgrade). The virtuoso just comes with the 2 orchestral roms (that are available for the P2k) while the P2k comes stock with a composer rom.
A little later in this month Emu plans on releasing OS 2.21 for the P2k which adds arpegiattors and other things. 32 simultaneous arp's sounds mighty nice to me!
I hope this helped
Justin
