As long as it is scsi, and connected on the same chain as the emu, You will be able to read Akia and Emu CD's into your sampler. Also, I have a Dos burner program that I can burn a copy of my 540MB HD in my sampler to CD. It should work with any HD as long as the data is under 650MB. E-mail me and I'll send it to you. Get a yamaha 6416 or 8424. My yamaha CDRW has never had a problem. Adaptek scsi cards are a good way to go.
