I'm using VST 3.5 with a Pentium 233, 80MB Ram. In sequenzing Midi Data (without
Audio Tracks) I have big timing problems. These problems do not occour in the
Score 3.05 vesion. Can anyone help me, does anyone have the same problem?

Well, I think it`s all because of teh fact it`s Cubase!!
I do like the program..I`s just that it`s got a lot of timing bugs...Especially if you sync for instance Rebirth to it... Something wrong with your MIDI-implementation?
I cant really be of so much help to you, i`m afraid...
I do have a problem With cubase myself..I`ll write you in
Email about that... Yours, Sasu Saaristo, Finland

P.s Try to remove all the audio tracks from your arrange-
window...Or check if there are any settings for audio in the preferences...Audio might slow thing down a bit...

Hi!

If you give me more information about the setup you use (synth, soundcard, Midi interface, etc.) I can give you more hints.

Do you have got the update to Cubase Version 3.553?

Version 3.50 and 3.51 had some timing problems.

Are there any question- or exclamation marks in the WIN95 device-manager (see system-control)?

What is the amount of the system-preroll time in Cubase? (see menu Options/Synchronisation). Please try out different preroll settings (from 200 up to 1000 or even more). If you increase this value, Cubase gets more time to calculate Midi events and has the chance, to stabilize Midi data flow, the synchronisation and the timing. Check this out !

Have you got the latest driver for your soundcard?

What happens, if you playback a Midi-song and move the Cubase window with your mouse during playback. Are there any problems (humpling, midi-dropouts)? Do you have such a problem when using audio-tracks in Cubase?

Ciao

Clemens
