Subject: vst effects not loading/crashing

Powerbook 3400c 32M RAM:
Cubase will only load a few of the vst effects and
the ones it does load (especially vst flanger,
which I'd like to use) often lose their settings
or are inconsistent in performance or sometimes
crash the machine. I know 32MB is a bit skimpy on
the old RAM but surely it shouldn't cause crashes.
By the way Cubase itself is set to about 20MB.
The parametric eq's in the vst window also seem to
be producing some quite unpredictable results, I
wonder if this is

well windows likes about 16 mb to run y'know....
