Korg 01/W pro connected to Awe 64 g and then on to Cubase 3.553...cannot get any midi in/out messages on sequencer ...using event darla card for audio which is communicating with cubase...can anyone help please ?

well, you have to make sure the awe is registered as the midi in/out with windoze... (control panel /multimedia.... or control panel/system...)

you gotta make sure it is selected in VST..... otherwise, all should be ok if that is done...

make sure you have the latest drivers for you sound blaster awe 64.
also it may be better using the new soundblaster live audio card.

Im running a similar config

AWE64
EVENT GINA

Midi should be fine through the AWE (forget Audio its so shit....).

have you got enough IRQ's ?

Id suggest installing the system with only the awe and then put in the Event

(running 3.6 with no problems)

P.s
EVENT where are the ASIO drivers you promised in May, July, August, September . . .dont buy Event stuff if you want support.....
