Yes, you should be fine. Of course if you plan on doing any extreme recording projects, SCSI is recomended, and I have to mention that your choice of sound cards is good. The Event cards are great, they are nothing compared to Digidesign's 888, but Pro-Tools just release the PC version of there software.

I would have gotten a SCSI, but with buying a new computer, an extra 6-9 for a 9.1 GB drive would have put me over the edge. I think within the year I'll be getting one (the prices are going down). What do you recommend besides like a Seagate Barracuda? Also, can anyone tell me how to set up my mixer and my sound card? I have a LEM 16 channel mixer (I should have bought a Mackie I know, but it was aneven trade for an old drum set). And as you know I have the GIna. So, my set up would be keyboards/samplers to mixer to??? I think since my mixer only has stereo outputs that I may run into some trouble.

Yea, I have seen a couple SCSI drives for fairly cheap, Quantums are good and cheap. If you have an ALT3-4 Mute button on your mixer, like the mackie 1402 has, that you should of bought, route out the 3-4 outs.
